Both the south and north loops are now groomed with classic track for approximately 5K+ of skiiing.  Some icy spots, but overall in good shape.

Jan 25 Ripinsky Summit Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Trail good. Soft in places, but well marked. 4 feet of snow at 2000' and at measuring stick. 45 degrees at 2000'. Nearly 50 degrees at summit. Significant obstacle is the many dog piles at beginning of trail up to tower fork & occasionally thereafter. Strongly recommend bringing baggies; they can be left off side of trail and picked up on the way home. Thanks.
