Valley of Eagles Golf Course: classic tracks groomed and set on Super Sunday. Snow packed powder. wind NW 15 but snow is holding firm.
25 Mile Klenhini River Trail: groomed and set for classic and also skate skiing on part of the course.
Chilkoot River Trail: still good classic and skate tracks; except for nucklehead truck driver on first part of road.

Fresh groomed and set Nordic classic tracks set at the Valley of Eagles Golf Course, today at noon, Fri. Snow condition superb powder; Wind, North gust to 20 in places. Double track set and will reset 10 am Sat due to wind.

25 Mile trail along the Klehini Flats is set for classic skiing. It is beautiful out there now with about 8" on top of a skinny base. Tracks are set from the dike entry, but you can reach the trail from the DOT parking lot by skiing out and to the right or out towards the water. There is a nice big loop in the meadow and until we get more snow, some bushes and twigs to ski through going towards the river confluence. Swans and moose are in the area.

The 25 Mile trail has been groomed for Saturday's race. Please don't take your dogs out there until after the event (11 am). Family friendly event with a kid's loop and refreshments!

Chilkoot River Road and Campground has classic tracks set. Skiiing is okay, but conditions are wet and slushy.

Good classic and skate skiing on the Chilkoot River Road. Protected from the north wind. Best sun from 9:30 to 2:30.

25 Mile, the Valley of the Eagles golf course, and Chilkoot all have great skiing now including skate skiing at Chilkoot. Get out and take advantage of the conditions while they last!

Ray groomed the golf course around 11 am today, Feb. 19. The course is in great shape!

Both the south and north loops are now groomed with classic track for approximately 5K+ of skiiing. Some icy spots, but overall in good shape.
